ABOUT US

Zan was started as a narrative by Rahil Najafabadi. She is currently the editor-in-chief of Zan, based in New York. Rahil also works along Eliza Ahern, the managing editor to curate and edit the magazine. We accept previously unpublished submissions from individuals of all backgrounds from across the world.

Zan, meaning woman in Farsi, is devoted to amplifying women and AFAB individuals in the arts. We look into highlighting beautiful stories of culture, fashion, and the experience of being a woman.

While our magazine is focused on mainly women, we also like to feature stories by men that showcase women’s impact on their lives.

Let’s get to know each other.

HAVE QUESTIONS OR JUST WANT TO SAY HELLO? ZAN WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU.
